As a member of an unemployment insurance fund, you are protected if you become unemployed.

Personalised and experienced unemployment fund advisors

The almost 700 members of the unemployment fund have their own personal case manager who calculates hours, pays out unemployment benefits, holiday pay and early retirement benefits, and provides guidance on maternity leave, working life and availability. The artists' unemployment fund is recognised for its high and individualised level of service.

Our members are performing artists

Artisternes a-kasse is located in Christianshavn in Copenhagen under the same roof as Dansk Artist Forbund, although we are two different organisations. Artisternes a-kasse is a department of Din Faglige A-kasse (FAK) and is a recognised authority whose decisions are subject to continuous state control.

With more than 25 years of experience, the Artists' Unemployment Fund has in-depth knowledge of artists' working conditions and current legislation, as well as current tax conditions and other social security.
