Can't get your payment?

As a performer, you may unfortunately find that the organiser who has hired you is unable or unwilling to pay. In this case, you can contact the Danish Artist Association and get advice from the association's lawyers. Often, an enquiry from the association to the debtor is enough for the amount to be paid.

Have your case assessed by the union's lawyers

If you have not been paid for your work, you can have your case assessed by one of the union's lawyers. Describe the problem and provide documentation of the agreement. If it is possible to recover your claim through debt collection, we can take over the case.

We send reminder letters on your behalf

One of the association's lawyers will send the debtor a reminder for payment with a 10-day payment deadline on your behalf. A letter sent from Dansk Artist Forbund will in many cases mean a quick response and payment of the claim.

We send your claim to debt collection

If the amount is not paid, the claim is transferred to actual debt collection. In this case, the debtor receives a collection letter for payment of the amount.

The debt collection case is handed over to the court

If the amount is still not paid, the case can be transferred to court.
