Maintain rights and responsibilities
If you release your music on your own label, you retain the rights to the production. This gives you, or the band together, responsibility for tasks and decisions around the release, including expenses and revenue.
Get overall advice from DAF
You can get general advice from DAF if you choose to publish your own music. You can get information about rights clearance, how to get the record into stores, what types of contractual structures are available, what you need to be aware of in terms of marketing and promotion, etc.
We are also happy to discuss your budgets and describe the overall maths of a release. DAF can also help with many of the agreements that need to be made in connection with the release of your music - or we can answer questions that arise along the way.
