Industry, self-awareness and new initiatives

"Whether you grew up on the streets of Nørrebro or just arrived on the four-train from Jutland, we can all learn a lot from looking in. There's a huge creative potential in that," says solo artist and former i Duné lead singer Mattias Kolstrup.

Composer and bassist Ida Duelund also points to conditions in the music industrywhich she sees as challenges for mental health.

"I think a lot of mental health issues in the music industry are rooted in structural issues like working conditions and pay. So when you start talking about exercise and diet, it's very easy to turn the mental problems into something individual."

Producer, DJ and manager Kasper Bjørke also has several experiences that can Lead the way to a healthier work culture.

"It's important to have initiatives that strengthen mental health and measures that can proactively help people who are vulnerable."
